Homage to Rothko
Peggy's Homage To Rothko, Completed over about 3 years time.

Rothko was my initial inspiration with his solid blocks of color and huge singular color canvases. I first saw his artwork on a greeting card and it spoke to me immediately and powerfully. I first called this Elemental Expression as it contains colors representing the Five Elements of Chinese Medicine, acupuncture and Feng Shui: Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and Metal.
